How Power Digital built a culture of consistent wellbeing with Strove

A unified platform helping employees stay active, mindful, and engaged across a global workforce.
Power Digital

Supporting wellbeing at scale

Power Digital is a fast-growing growth marketing and consulting company with teams spread across the United States and internationally. With a distributed workforce, maintaining connection and culture is an ongoing priority.

As the company grew, the team wanted to make wellbeing a natural part of everyday work - not something separate or occasional. The goal was to create a shared experience that could bring employees together while supporting their physical, mental, and overall wellbeing.

To achieve this, Power Digital partnered with Strove. Today, Strove is embedded in their wellbeing strategy, helping employees stay connected to their health and to each other, wherever they work.

The challenge

Like many modern organisations, Power Digital needed to rethink how wellbeing could work across a remote and global team.

This wasn’t about introducing another corporate initiative - it was about building something employees would genuinely engage with.

The key challenges were:

  • Meaningful engagement: Creating a platform employees would return to consistently, not just during short campaigns
  • Global inclusivity: Ensuring employees across locations felt equally included and recognised
  • Simplicity for HR: Delivering impact without adding administrative burden

They needed a solution that could drive real behaviour change while remaining easy to manage and scale.

Why Strove

Strove offered a practical, engaging way to integrate wellbeing into employees’ daily routines.

By combining habit-building tools, challenges, and rewards into one platform, Strove created an experience that felt both accessible and motivating.

Power Digital was able to:

  • Encourage consistent healthy behaviours through activity tracking and habit-building
  • Drive engagement through company-wide challenges and friendly competition
  • Reward participation in a way that felt meaningful and inclusive
  • Support employees holistically, across physical and mental wellbeing
  • Roll out and manage the programme without adding operational strain

The result was a platform employees enjoyed using - and one the HR team could confidently scale.

The rollout

Power Digital rolled out Strove across the organisation as a full launch, supported by internal communications, onboarding sessions, and ongoing engagement initiatives.

Employees were introduced to the platform through awareness sessions. From day one, the experience was designed to be simple and accessible.

Employees could:

  • Track movement and activity throughout the day
  • Join company-wide challenges and work towards rewards
  • Build consistency through small, repeatable actions
  • Participate in guided meditation sessions
  • Earn points and redeem rewards aligned with their preferences

One standout initiative was a monthly meditation series in 2025, where employees joined guided sessions focused on different themes. The sessions received strong feedback and reinforced the platform’s mental wellbeing offering.

“Meditation was great! Casey is awesome.”
— Sam Schroeter, Director of Culture

Alongside this, multi-week wellbeing challenges combined movement, nutrition, and mindfulness into a cohesive experience that kept participation high.

The impact

Strove has helped Power Digital build a more consistent and engaging approach to wellbeing across its workforce.

To date, over 460 employees have activated the platform, representing an activation rate of 56%.

Engagement has translated into meaningful daily behaviours:

  • 58 average active minutes per member per day
  • 6,000 average steps per member per day
  • 7.8 hours average sleep per night per member

Participation has remained strong over time, with:

  • 13.5 average challenge enrolments per month
  • Members achieved Gold tier an average of 5.8 times

Members have earned an average of 6,989 points, with food and shopping vouchers emerging as the most popular rewards.

Beyond the numbers, the biggest impact has been in behaviour and mindset.

“Strove has been a great addition to our wellness initiatives, giving our team an easy way to stay mindful of healthy habits and participate in challenges together. It’s helped create more opportunities for connection across teams, and we’re excited to see how the platform continues to evolve."

— Sam Schroeter, Director of Culture

Employees are building consistent habits, even during busy periods, and developing a stronger connection between personal wellbeing and performance at work.

“My advice is to focus on building the habit. Even on busy days, doing something small helps maintain the rhythm. Consistency is what really makes the difference in the long run.”

— Ximena Gomez, Power Digital

The platform has also strengthened team connection and engagement across the organisation.

“Our team loves Strove. They’ve done a great job getting everyone engaged and more excited about overall wellbeing. The workouts, meditations, and fun prizes give great incentive, and the support team made our onboarding seamless.”

— Sam Schroeter, Director of Culture, Power Digital

For many employees, the impact goes beyond physical health.

“I’m a big believer in the idea that how you show up for yourself influences your ability to show up for others. Through consistent movement I’m able to stay mentally grounded and present for the people around me.”

— Melia Dion, Associate Director, Power Digital

Power Digital continues to build on this momentum through ongoing challenges, campaigns, and wellbeing initiatives.

With Strove now embedded into their culture, the focus is on deepening engagement and supporting employees in building sustainable, long-term habits.
