Strove Technologies Ltd and/or Strove South Africa (Pty) Ltd (together, “Strove”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provide a wellbeing and engagement platform (the “Service”) for employees, medical scheme members and other users.
Features may include activity tracking, challenges, rewards, lifestyle and nutrition guidance, AI-powered meal scanning, camera-based face scanning, wearable integrations, preventive health pathways, wellbeing scores and reporting.
The Service supports general wellbeing and healthy habits. It is not designed to provide medical or clinical care.
Strove is not a healthcare provider. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or clinical services, or create a clinician–patient relationship.
Content, estimates, scores and recommendations are for general wellbeing information only. They do not replace professional medical, nutritional or psychological advice.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional about health concerns before making medical decisions or before changing routines that could affect a medical condition or treatment. Do not disregard professional advice, delay care or change prescribed treatment because of information from the Service.
Some features use artificial intelligence for wellbeing insights, suggestions, meal analysis or recommendations. The Service will identify AI-generated content or AI-powered features.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for you, and may not account for your medical history, medications, allergies or conditions. They must not be used to diagnose or treat health conditions.
Meal analysis provides estimates and cannot confirm ingredients, allergens or suitability for a medically prescribed diet.
Strove’s face scan feature, powered by IntelliProve, uses your device’s camera to estimate physiological measures, which may include heart rate, blood pressure and related wellbeing indicators.
Results are for general wellbeing information only. They may be inaccurate or vary between scans. Follow the instructions on lighting, positioning and remaining still.
Face scan results do not replace clinical measurements, appropriate medical equipment or professional assessment. They must not be used to diagnose, monitor, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition or guide medication or treatment decisions.
A reassuring result does not rule out a health problem. Seek professional advice about symptoms or concerns regardless of your results.
Clinician-designed pathways, including those addressing weight, blood pressure, glucose or musculoskeletal wellbeing, support healthy habits. They are general wellbeing programmes, not personalised treatment plans or substitutes for medical care.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or are unsure whether a programme is suitable.
Employers, medical schemes, insurers or other sponsoring organisations may receive aggregated and anonymised reports about participation and programme outcomes.
Any sharing of personal data is governed by applicable law, our Privacy Policy and programme-specific privacy information explaining what is shared, with whom, why and any choices or consent requirements.
Strove does not share individual-level health or wellbeing data with employers unless you explicitly opt in to a feature designed to share that information, such as a leaderboard, and sharing is lawful and consistent with your permissions, settings and the applicable privacy information.
Strove does not use wellbeing data to make or support employment decisions about individuals.
Connected wearables and health platforms provide data you authorise us to access, which may personalise your experience and inform wellbeing insights. This information may contain errors or gaps and does not replace a clinical health record.
You can disconnect integrations through your account settings to stop future access. Retention or deletion of previously collected data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy and feature-specific privacy information explain how wellbeing and face scan data are collected, processed, shared and retained, including the role of technology providers.
The Service cannot be relied on to detect emergencies or determine whether urgent care is needed. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately:
Do not wait for scan results or a response from Strove support.
